Otto anni di attività possono sembrare pochi, eppure, considerando nell’istante ogni singola e minima lotta, appaiono piuttosto come un grande traguardo.
Anche durante il terribile periodo della pandemia, grazie al sito - dove pubblichiamo in varie lingue articoli originali e citazioni - noi membri, insieme agli Amici di Cultura in Atto sparsi in tutta Europa, siamo riusciti a mantenere viva la fiamma del Movimento. Ed è proprio grazie al loro contributo - anche economico, attraverso le donazioni - che riusciamo a portare avanti ed arricchire ogni volta questa piattaforma di confronto.
Quanto al particolare periodo storico con cui siamo chiamati a confrontarci, in cui la già antica guerra fredda va diventando man mano più incandescente, in cui il nuovo assetto mondiale, spostandosi verso nuove alleanze e gruppi di potere, minaccia più che mai di isolarci e di schiacciarci, crediamo che l’unica àncora per la nostra cara Europa consista nella sua forza intellettuale. In tal senso, svilupperemo concetti che già abbiamo affrontato gli anni precedenti fino ad arrivare a teorizzare un’idea sempre più concreta e definita di Emancipazione dell’Europa.
Prima ancora di sfociare in una soluzione politica, possibilità che al momento vediamo ancora lontana, tale Emancipazione deve passare necessariamente per una soluzione culturale: e questo, beninteso, al di là di ogni schieramento preimpostato e preimposto.
Quest'anno riteniamo essere una sorta di resa dei conti con le tante zavorre ideologiche che ancora ci trascinano verso certi abissi della storia e giustificano l’inerzia e l’incertezza che pervadono la vita politica e sociale della nostra grande famiglia europea. Insomma, un altro anno stimolante per Cultura in Atto.

EIGHT YEARS OF CULTURA IN ATTO: TOWARDS NEW COMMITMENTS
Eight years of activity may seem a short period, and yet, considering each and every struggle, it rather appears as a great achievement.
Even during the terrible period of the pandemic, thanks to the website - where we publish original articles and quotations in various languages - we members, together with the Friends of Cultura in Atto scattered throughout Europe, managed to keep the flame of the Movement alive. And it is thanks to their contribution - also through donations - that we were and still are able to enrich this platform of discussion and debate.
With regard to the particular historical period we are facing, in which what we considered to be the old Cold War is progressively getting younger and heating up, in which the new world order, moving towards new alliances and power groups, threatens more than ever to isolate and crush us, we believe that the only anchor for our dear Europe lies in its intellectual strength. In this sense, we will develop concepts that we have already addressed in previous years to the point of theorising an increasingly concrete and defined idea of Emancipation of Europe.
Before being able to lead us to any kind of political solution, a chance that we still see as far off at the moment, this Emancipation must necessarily pass through a cultural solution: and this, of course, beyond any pre-established and pre-imposed formation.
We think that this year will lead to a sort of reckoning for the many ideological dead weights that still drag us towards certain abysses of history and which justify the inertia and uncertainty pervading political and social life of our great European family. In short, another exciting year for Cultura in Atto.
